The three Mook men had talked for a LONG time about a weekend away together. But we had never been able to organize ourselves until Barry volunteered. There were three conditions… First, we all had to commit to a date. No excuses or exceptions. Second, he would make all the arrangements. And third, he would not tell us where we were going. Surprise!
So, on Friday afternoon, 3 November, as per his instructions, the three of us met at Schiphol Airport. Barry handed out the tickets. DUBLIN!
In 2018, Byron did the organizing. The destination was KRAKOW (including Auschwitz), but we didn’t take any pictures. 2019, 2020, and 2021 were misses. In 2022, Dennis took us to the CHAMPAGNE area of France. And in 2024, Barry again, this time close to home for an unbelievable Japanese dinner in AMSTERDAM to celebrate his 50th birthday.
We have the beginnings of a tradition…
