Barry and Naomi

Barry is a senior neurologist at one of the big hospitals in The Hague. He leads a group specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of multiple sclerosis, supervises residents, and is heavily involved in hospital managment/politics. He also continues to play tennis and has his private pilot’s license. (His mother would not be thrilled at the latter but would certainly want to go up with him in his new plane).

Naomi is a clinical psychiatrist at a research and treatment institute near The Hague. She is active in amateur theatricals, also plays tennis, and surfs whenever she can. In 2020, she had her long-planned-for kidney transplant. Her mother was the donor and both surgeries went perfectly.
