One of the trips of a lifetime… Nine of us for two weeks in Japan! The only person missing was Maren, who hates to fly. Zerlina at 2.5 months was the continuous star of the show.
The highpoint was an afternoon in Tokyo with fourteen Yoshida aunts, uncles, and cousins. (Sakiko’s mother was a Yoshida). Julien summed it up: “Now I know that I really have a Japanese family”.
We tried not to do too much. Four cities: Nara, Kanazawa, Tokyo, and Kyoto.
