Three summer weeks in the western USA and Canada. Maren and Byron flew from Bremen to Salt Lake City, and then drove to Seattle via Wyoming, Montana, the Trans-Canada highway, and Vancouver.
The high point was a 5-day Parker family reunion attended by miscellaneous cousins plus spouses. Since all of us were 57-69 and since some had not seen others for 30+ years, we had lots of 1960s fun and much to catch up on. The venue was the Paul Parker family house in Red Lodge (Montana), which we used as a base for hiking, whitewater rafting, rodeo’s, pig races, and other western diversions.
Everyone had such fun that we planned another reunion, in Amsterdam, for August 2013.
